Batik Iris
One of the First of the Striped Iris, and Still the Best!

This striking Iris combines royal purple with streaks and splashes of crisp white - really eye-catching in the garden! It was the first of this coloring to receive attention in the Iris world, and is still one of the best of the broken color type, with larger blooms and longer stems. It is in the Median Iris category - same majestic form as the Tall Bearded Iris, but slightly smaller in all its parts, so you can plant it nearer the front of your flower beds. Opens early in the Iris season on 24-inch stems.
