Iris is very pretty, but
it does not re-bloom. It now the 3rd year - and it has never re-bloomed.

It's all about the fertilizer

I received 10 of these for mothers day last year. I planted 5 in a shaded area and 5 in full sun. I used miracle grow on the full sun plantings and Preen and Green granules on the shaded area plantings. The full sun plants did not rebloom however the shaded area plants did.
This year I am using Preen and Green granules on all the iris plants and am awaiting the blooms on both groups! Yes, both groups bloomed in the spring and now have flower buds on them as we speak! I guess it's all about the fertilizer.
